The flat glass finishing segment closed out 2024 with a decline in total revenue of 12.8 percent to EUR 4.10 billion (2023: EUR 4.64 billion). Domestic revenue fell 15.8 percent to EUR 2.43 billion (2023: EUR 2.89 billion). Foreign revenue was down 7.9 percent to EUR 1.62 billion (2023: EUR 1.76 billion).

The export quota was 46.9 percent in 2024, which is higher than the 2023 level (43.3 percent). The value of exported goods was EUR 2.15 billion or 2.5 percent lower than in 2023 (EUR 2.20 billion).

In 2024 the importquota was 46.4 percent (2023: 43.9 percent). The value of imported goods was EUR 2.11 billion (2023: EUR 2.26 billion), which represents a 6.7 percent decline. The export surplus amounted to EUR 39 million, a drastic decrease of 168.1 percent versus the previous year.
