The association

80 percent of German glass manufacturing enterprises are members of the Federal Association of the German Glass Industry. They include manufacturers of container glass, flat glass, special glass and glass processing and finishing companies. Some members are based in Germany and others are foreign enterprises with a subsidiary in Germany. Their membership helps to raise the glass industry's profile in politics and the media. The association pools and represents their interests in the political arena. BV Glas members also profit from membership in the Federation of German Industries (Bundesverband der deutschen Industrie e.V.)
