Initiative to establish the 100th Energy Efficiency Network announced

German government and trade organisations have doubled the number of knowledge platforms over the past nine months and the 100th Energy Efficiency Network has now been established.

The aim is to have around 500 new Energy Efficiency Networks involving large, small and craft industries, as well as the trade and energy sectors, by the year 2020.  Since it was launched at the beginning of December 2014 more than 1,000 companies - including BV Glas members - have joined the NAPE (national energy efficiency action plan) initiative. BV Glas joined in 2014. It has since initiated and supported the establishment of three Energy Efficiency Networks.
